iFLYTEK Wins National Science and Technology Progress Award

TapTechNews June 24th news, according to the Hefei Release news, the 2023 National Science and Technology Awards Ceremony was held in Beijing today. The Multi-lingual Intelligent Speech Key Technologies and Industrialization project, with iFLYTEK as the first completion unit, won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

This is the first National Science and Technology Progress Award first prize in the field of artificial intelligence since the deep learning triggered the new generation of artificial intelligence wave in 2012. According to the introduction, a total of 250 projects were selected for the 2023 National Science and Technology Awards.

National Natural Science Award 49 items: 1 first prize, 48 second prizes;

National Technology Invention Award 62 items: 8 first prizes, 54 second prizes;

National Science and Technology Progress Award 139 items: 3 special prizes, 16 first prizes, 120 second prizes.

In terms of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Revival High-Speed Train, with the nominator being the Zhan Tianyou Science and Technology Development Foundation, won the special prize.
