TapTechNews September 21, YouTube channel AppleTrack host Sam Kohl released a video yesterday (September 20), conducting a drop test on the iPhone 16Pro in Australia and a comparative test with the iPhone 15Pro.
TapTechNews attached Kohl's expressed views as follows:
On the iPhone 16Pro, I think there is a problem because the bezel is too thin.
So when subjected to impacts such as corner impacts or other impacts that barely touch the edge of the screen, the display panel of the 16Pro will become very fragile, and significantly more fragile than the 15Pro.
In the additional testing process, Sam found that the damage of the iPhone 16Pro was not as serious overall compared to the iPhone 15Pro.
Another YouTube channel TechRax also conducted a durability test on the iPhone 16Pro with a hammer and a small knife, but this video is more inclined to violent destruction and has little practical significance.
