Apple's Developer Event Focuses on visionOS and 3D Immersive Content

TapTechNews October 7th news, according to Uploadvr, Apple held a developer event named 'Envision the Future' at its headquarters last week, aiming to help developers build 3D immersive content and gain in-depth understanding of Apple's SwiftUI, ARKit, RealityKit tools, and the visionOS platform.

This one-day event was described as a 'comfortable WWDC', which is different from the traditional developer conference and is more focused on the emerging platform of visionOS. One developer said after the event: 'This is a great experience. I hope Apple can hold more such events. Because the activity focuses on one theme, and visionOS is a very new platform, all of our developers are in the same boat, jointly exploring 'how to do this.'

Apple started selling the VisionPro headset in the US in February this year, expanded its sales scope to more regions in June (TapTechNews note: the starting price in China is 29,999 yuan), and updated its operating system to visionOS2 in September.
