Microsoft Releases Updates for Windows Server to Fix Remote Desktop Disconnection Problem

TapTechNews on October 9th, in this month's Patch Tuesday event, Microsoft released cumulative updates for Windows Server, focusing on fixing the intermittent disconnection problem of Remote Desktop Connection.

TapTechNews reported in July this year that Microsoft acknowledged that the KB5040437 update released for Windows Server on July 9th this year had a BUG, which would cause intermittent disconnection of Remote Desktop Connection, and users reported that it crashed once every 30 minutes after installation.

Administrators can track it as a TSGateway service termination problem. When it becomes unresponsive and is recorded as Event 1000 in the system event log, it will trigger the 0xc0000005 exception code.
