AYANEO to Upgrade Handheld Consoles with AMD Ryzen 7 8840U
TapTechNews May 22nd news, in addition to the already officially announced AYANEO AIR1S, the AYANEO official tonight announced that it will upgrade the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor for the AYANEO 2S and AYANEO KUN handheld consoles, and reservations will open at 2:30 PM on May 24th.
TapTechNews noticed that the current AYANEO AIR1S/2S/KUN handheld consoles are equipped with the Ryzen 7 7840U processor codenamed Phoenix, and this upgrade to the Ryzen 7 8840U processor codenamed HawkPoint still features an 8-core Zen4 CPU and a 12-core RDNA3 iGPU, with the NPU performance increased by 60% to 16 TOPS.
According to the introduction, the AYANEO AIR1S handheld console 8840U version will launch two regular colors of Aurora White and Midnight Black, as well as the AYANEO AIR1S x Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes联名款 jointly created with 505 Games.
The official has not yet introduced the specific version information of the 8840U version of the AYANEO 2S/KUN handheld console.
