After this upgrade, the Gaode map's voice packs have become fewer and the selectable sound quality is not good. What's the reason?
The Gaode map used in this upgrade is the customizable map (SDK) specifically provided by Gaode for auto enterprises. Because some IP voice packs have not been authorized by the voice copyright owner, the auto enterprise-exclusive customized version cannot be directly used.
In response to the problem of the poor experience of Gaode voice packs raised by early adopters, while retaining some IP voice packs of the customizable Gaode map, we will add the high-definition voice pack customized by Lynk & Co. The improved version is planned to be OTA in the fourth quarter of this year.
When will the LYNKOS N Gaode map have the green light countdown function?
The red light countdown/green light countdown in the Gaode map version is implemented in two different versions respectively. In the Gaode map version that is launched this time, the red light countdown function has already been implemented. The green light countdown function is already in development. To ensure it is more accurate and reliable, an agreement has been reached with the official Gaode and it is planned to support it in the next version, which is planned to be OTA in the fourth quarter of this year.
In this OTA, has any new function been added to the handset-car interconnection?
In this OTA of LYNKOS N, the functions of Hi-Car and Carlink have been optimized, improving the stability of the connection of Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo mobile phones. At the same time, the FlymeLink handset-car interconnection function has been added, realizing the further expansion of the mobile phone domain and enriching the App applications on the car machine side.

Can all of LYNK OS N be switched to Flyme Auto?
LYNKOS N and FlymeAuto are both systems that Lynk & Co has deeply customized and developed on the car machine based on Android to meet the functional safety and stability requirements of the car machine and the application scenarios of the car machine. Therefore, it cannot be regarded as an entertainment system, but a car machine and vehicle control system involving the entire vehicle electronic and electrical architecture. Since there are differences in each model and each version of each model, it means that our car machine system cannot simply be copied from one model to another. Each model requires in-depth customization and adaptation to ensure the integration of the system with other parts of the vehicle, and it takes as long as 6-9 months for each model to develop, and the car control adaptation is very difficult.
We have also compared and evaluated the functional and technical characteristics of the LYNKOS N and FlymeAuto systems. For example, The FlymeAuto system has a strong dynamic three-dimensional effect, but has a higher requirement for computing power. If the FlymeAuto system is developed based on the 8155 chip, the dynamic three-dimensional effect will not be available, so there will be no significant difference in the usage experience of the two systems. At the same time, there are also differences in some frequently used functions such as scene mode and desktop card between the two systems, and switching will likely have a greater impact on some users' usage habits. At the same time, the complete switch of the system also faces a large number of verification and user bug fixes, which will also increase the risk of affecting the experience.
Based on factors such as development resources, time cost, actual user experience, and system stability, the LYNKOS N system will continue to be optimized and upgraded after comprehensive evaluation by the cabin technology development research institute of the institute, and the two systems will be integrated in the background operation to share resources and further improve stability and smoothness.
Can this OTA-related model support CarPlay?
To realize CarPlay, hardware pre-burial is required during model development. According to the authorization regulations of the other company, the genuine CarPlay requires the certification of the car machine hardware. So under the premise of respecting intellectual property rights and abiding by laws and regulations, CarPlay does not support the installation through software upgrade later.
The Lynk & Co 09 car has started the LYNKOS N1.3.0 version push upgrade on July 31st this year, adding functions such as FlymeLink and the map traffic light countdown.
