TapTechNews noticed that 'Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth' was officially released on February 29th of this year. At that time, many players soon reported that there were a large number of physical discs with printing errors. Specifically, the disc printed with 'PlayDisc' (game disc) actually had the content of 'DataDisc' (data disc), and the other error was just the opposite. Although it doesn't affect the game, it's still a bit annoying for obsessive-compulsive physical collection players.

This replacement service will allow players to exchange the discs with printing errors for the correct version. Players who want to replace need to file an application through a dedicated form and mail the discs by cash on delivery. The official will start to return the correct discs starting from August 26th after confirmation.

It is worth noting that in addition to Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia have also been affected by this printing error. But so far, only PlayStation Japan has issued a replacement notice.
