DreamWorks Announces <i>Shrek 5</i> Release Date in 2026

DreamWorks Animation now announces that its animated movie Shrek 5 will be released in North American theaters on July 1, 2026. Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz are all returning to do the voices and reprise their previous roles.

Eddie Murphy had previously also revealed that the donkey he voices in Shrek will also have a standalone spin-off movie.
