TapTechNews June 15th, according to foreign media PCWatch, Minisforum showcased the yet-to-be-released MS-A1 mini workstation at the Computex 2024 Taipei International Computer Show.

The Minisforum MS-A1 has a similar design to the already available MS-01 mini workstation, but the processor is replaced from Intel Core i9-13900H to AMD AM5 platform, offering three options of R7 8700G, R5 8600G and R5 7600.

TapTechNews noted that in addition to supporting the Phoenix and Raphael platforms, this computer will also support upgrading to the Zen5 processor in the future.

For internal expandability, the MS-A1 is equipped with two DDR5 SO-DIMM memory slots, with a maximum support of 64GB (about 61.02GB) memory; it supports U.2 hard disks and can support the installation of up to 4 M.2 NVMe SSD solid-state drives.
