AMD to Release New Products in 2024 and 2025

TapTechNews August 15th news, a source from X platform, HoangAnhPhu (@AnhPhuH), disclosed today that AMD will release a series of new products on 10.10 (presumably referring to October 10, 2024), including the following:

The Ryzen AI PRO 300 series commercial processors, the Zen5 architecture EPYC server processors (including the standard Zen5 core version and the Zen5c high-density core version), the Instinct MI325X accelerator, and some new Xilinx products.

AMD to Release New Products in 2024 and 2025_0

While the large-scale consumer-level APU with the code name StrixHalo and the smaller-scale APU product with the code name KrackanPoint will be launched at CES 2025 held in Las Vegas, USA from January 7th to 10th local time.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, the AMD Ryzen AI7 PRO360 processor has appeared in the benchmark test, which adopts a 3×Zen5 + 5×Zen5c core design.

The standard Zen5 core version of the Zen5 architecture EPYC server processor will contain up to 16 CCDs, totaling 128 cores, while the Zen5c high-density core version will contain up to 12 CCDs, totaling 192 cores. Both versions support DDR5-6000 memory.

The Instinct MI325X was officially announced at Computex 2024. It is an updated version of the previous MI300X accelerator. The main change is the replacement of HBM3E, and the memory capacity increases from 192GB to 288GB, and the memory bandwidth also increases from 5.3TB/s to 6TB/s.
