China's First Domestic Large Cruise Ship

The first domestic large cruise ship Adora Magic City with more than 5,000 domestic and foreign tourists on board returned to the Shanghai home port today, completing the 7-day and 6-night National Day theme voyage. This is the 64th voyage operated by Adora Magic City since its maiden voyage on January 1, 2024, and the number of tourists served exceeded 250,000.

Adora Magic City and Adora Mediterranean cruise ships will start the annual operation season of two ships and six home ports next year, bringing nearly 170 international cruise routes for domestic and foreign guests to meet the diverse travel needs of consumers.

TapTechNews learned that the second domestic large cruise ship has also begun to take shape, and the number of blocks assembled exceeds 50%, and it is expected to be completed and delivered by the end of 2026, and then it will operate relying on the Guangzhou home port.

Compared with the first domestic large cruise ship, the second domestic large cruise ship has a larger gross tonnage, a longer length, and the number of rooms has increased by 19 to 2144. In addition, through optimized design layout of the second domestic large cruise ship, the area of public areas and outdoor leisure and entertainment areas has also increased significantly.
