Jeep Wagoneer S New Pure Electric SUV Unveiled in North America

Jeep's all-new pure electric SUV model, the Wagoneer S, has recently been officially unveiled in the North American market. It will first land in the US and Canada this autumn and then gradually enter other global markets. Currently, the official has announced the price information of the advance version of this car, with a starting price of 71,995 US dollars (TapTechNews note: about 522,000 yuan currently).

This car is developed based on the new STLA Large platform of the Stellantis Group and is the first pure electric global model of the Jeep brand.

The Jeep Wagoneer S adopts an angular and avant-garde design, the family's signature seven-hole grille is retained, the body is in a two-tone color scheme, and some areas also use blackening treatment to increase the sporty flavor. Its length, width and height are 4886/1900/1645mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2870mm.

In terms of interior, the new car is equipped with 4 screens, including a 12.3-inch touch instrument screen, a 12.3-inch central control screen and a 10.25-inch passenger screen, as well as the function control screen below the center console. In other configurations, the car has a built-in 19 speakers, including a 1200W amplifier, a 12-inch subwoofer, as well as the front seat heating and ventilation functions, active driving assistance system, Selec-Terrain all-terrain mode self-select system (five driving modes such as automatic, sports, competitive, snow, and sand).

In terms of power, the car will provide a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a maximum power of 447kW and a zero-to-hundred acceleration time of 3.4 seconds. The car is equipped with a 100kWh 400V battery, and the pure electric cruising range is 480 kilometers, and the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in 23 minutes.
