Krafton Acquires TangoGameworks and Hi-Fi RUSH IP from Microsoft

More than three months later, the developer of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Krafton, released a press release today, stating that it has acquired TangoGameworks and the Perfect Pitch game IP from Microsoft, and the TangoGameworks studio doesn't have to close.

Krafton stated in the press release: As part of this strategic agreement, Krafton intends to work with Microsoft Xbox and ZeniMax to ensure a smooth transition for TangoGameworks and maintain continuity, so that the talented team can continue to develop the Perfect Pitch IP and explore future projects.

TapTechNews found out that TangoGameworks was founded in 2010 and is known for making the widely-acclaimed Perfect Pitch, the survival horror games The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2, as well as the action adventure game Ghostwire: Tokyo. When ZeniMax was acquired by Microsoft Xbox in 2021, the TangoGameworks studio also became a part of Xbox.
