The First Intelligent Production Line for High-Speed Rail Double-Block Sleeper and Small Prefabricated Components in China Starts Operation
TapTechNews August 12th news, according to CCTV News report, The first high-speed rail double-block sleeper and small prefabricated component co-linear intelligent production line in China, officially went into production today at the construction site of the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway.
The intelligent production line is located in Yanjin County, Yunnan Province, covering an area of 50,000 square meters (about 1.24 acres), which is an intelligent production line independently designed by China, integrating technologies such as digital simulation, intelligent robots, Internet of Things, and big data. It undertakes the production tasks of more than 500,000 double-block sleepers and 600,000 small components for the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway.
TapTechNews note: The Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway is a key component of the national eight vertical and eight horizontal railway network, the Beijing-Kunming passage, with a total length of 699 kilometers (about 434.3 miles), of which the Yunnan section is as long as 388.6 kilometers (about 241.4 miles).
According to the report, this intelligent production line integrates 14 advanced stations such as intelligent grinding, fully automatic installation, precise布料, and intelligent detection. With the core of the 'Internet of Things +', it realizes the deep interconnection of production factors such as people, machines, materials, methods, and environment. Each high-speed rail sleeper and small prefabricated component is automatically produced with almost no human intervention, greatly improving production efficiency and reducing costs and energy consumption.
This intelligent production line realizes the co-linear design and co-linear production of high-speed rail double-block sleepers and small prefabricated components. From steel processing to sleeper production, it can be completed in one production line. This is currently the most advanced intelligent production line in China. The production line can complete the production of one module every 2.5 minutes, which is 50% more efficient than the traditional way, the operating cost is reduced by 25%, and the energy consumption per unit output value is reduced by 12%.
