BMW Group's 2024 Q2 and First Half Delivery Data Update

TapTechNews July 10th news, the BMW Group has now announced the latest delivery data for the second quarter and the first half of 2024.

In the first half of 2024, the global sales volume of the BMW brand reached 1,096,486 vehicles, an increase of 2.3% compared to the same period of the previous year; including 179,557 pure electric models, an increase of 34.1% compared to the same period of the previous year. The global sales volume of the BMW brand in the second quarter reached 565,553 vehicles, an increase of 2.2%.

In addition, the BMW Group delivered a total of 1,213,359 cars (BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce brands) in the first half of the year, a decrease of 0.1% compared to the same period of the previous year; the global sales volume in the second quarter was 618,826 vehicles, a decrease of 1.3%. In the first half of this year, BMW and MINI sold 375,947 new cars in China, a decrease of 4.2% compared to the same period of the previous year; in the second quarter of this year, the sales in China reached 188,495 vehicles, a decrease of 4.7%.

In the first half of this year, the Rolls-Royce brand launched the new Cullinan Series II model and delivered 2,819 new cars to global customers in total; BMW Motorcycles delivered 113,072 motorcycles and scooters to global customers in the same period.
