TapTechNews noticed that the latest information comes from VR enthusiast Luna, who allegedly had conversations with several insiders and saw several developer versions of the headset device. The name Pico4S is still tentative, but the Pico company has already registered the trademark in March.

Luna listed the following specification information:

Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen2.

Memory: 12GB.

Display: Dual LCD screens, with a single-eye resolution of 2160 x 2160 pixels.

Refresh rate: 90 Hz.

Lenses: Pancake lenses with electric interpupillary distance adjustment function.

Sensors: 4 tracking cameras, 2 RGB see-through cameras, 2 infrared illuminators for room depth detection.

Handheld controller: No-ring handheld controller.

New mixed reality features: Room scanning and floating panels that can be freely placed in the room.

According to Luna's sources, although the details may still change, these features are likely to be the final version. A recent device certification information in South Korea hinted that the headset may be released in the next few months.
