Analysts said that not long ago, Huawei had already transferred the Zhijie and Xiangjie trademarks to the corresponding intelligent selection partners Chery and BAIC respectively. Coupled with this transfer of the Wenjie trademark to SERES, Huawei should be hoping to transfer all the trademarks of its transportation tool category to the corresponding vehicle manufacturers. From internal resolutions to public speeches, Huawei has repeatedly reaffirmed that it will not make cars, and transferring out the vehicle-related trademarks one by one further indicates that Huawei firmly adheres to this strategy.

The Wenjie Automobile is a new energy vehicle brand jointly created by Huawei and SERES, and models such as M5, M7, and M9 have been released. In fact, the well-known new energy vehicle brand Wenjie is actually called AITO Wenjie. Among them, AITO represents SERES. Public information shows that AITO and its logo trademark belong to Chongqing Pukang Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. which is wholly-owned by SERES.

And the Wenjie trademark did not belong to SERES nor Huawei before, but to a third-party company with a registered capital of 110,000 yuan - Beijing Yong'an Shida Technology and Trade Co., Ltd. According to the information, the company's main business scope includes technology transfer, and it has no obvious connection with Huawei and SERES.

TapTechNews noticed that last June 11th, according to the information of the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, a total of 21 trademark transfer applications for Wenjie have been approved, and the transferees are all Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. After the completion of the trademark transfer, it means that the ownership of the Wenjie trademark officially belongs to Huawei.
