ADATA's July 2024 Revenue and Forecast for Memory Prices

TapTechNews August 7th news, the storage module giant ADATA's consolidated revenue in July 2024 was 3.054 billion New Taiwan dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 667 million RMB), with a month-on-month increase of 3.38% and a year-on-year increase of 34.04%. The cumulative revenue from January to July was 23.964 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 5.231 billion RMB), with a year-on-year increase of 46.54%.

In July, DRAM contributed 48.22% to ADATA's revenue, SSD accounted for 33.1%, and other products contributed 18.68%; in the first 7 months, DRAM's revenue accounted for 45.4%, SSD was 27.43%, and other products accounted for 27.17%.

ADATA expected in today's financial report that the memory contract price will continue to rise in the second half of 2024 and will not be affected by the fluctuation of the spot price, because the upstream suppliers are insistent on the attitude towards price and profit, and the inventory replenishment of traditional servers and PC terminals is stable. After the spot market goes through inventory de-stocking, it is expected that the price is close to the bottom.
