ASUS Showcases TUFGAMING Motherboard with AMD X870 Chipset at BilibiliWorld 2024

TapTechNews July 15th news, ASUS showcased a TUFGAMING series ATX-sized motherboard with AMD X870 chipset at the BilibiliWorld 2024 exhibition.

The whole motherboard adopts a tough metal style design, with a TUFGAMING nameplate pattern decorated on the lower right, and the reflective TUFGAMING words printed on the upper left IO interface armor. In addition, POWERFUL X870 is written between the CPU socket and the four DDR5 memory slots.

This motherboard is equipped with two EPS 8-Pin CPU auxiliary power supply interfaces, has two full-length PCIe slots and supports multi-GPU, of which the first one is in the 5.0×16 specification and provides quick-release support.

In terms of M.2 storage, in addition to the two slots below the CPU socket and above the second PCIe slot, TapTechNews expects that this X870 motherboard also reserves at least one interface under the STAY TOUGH words.

In addition, this motherboard is equipped with a 2.5G wired network card, supports USB4, and is equipped with a front USB Type-C pin header to provide higher expandability.

According to the Taiwan media Cangzhe Extreme report, this TUFGAMING motherboard also appeared at the 2024 Taipei International Computer Show in June.

The actual shooting pictures at that time showed that this motherboard has 2 USB 4 40Gbps interfaces, 3 USB Type-A 10Gbps interfaces, 4 Type-A 5Gbps interfaces and 1 USB 2.0 interface that can be flashed with BIOS, supports Wi-Fi 7.
