According to TapTechNews' previous report, Mark Zuckerberg, the chief executive officer of Meta, announced on July 3 that the monthly active users of the Threads platform had exceeded 175 million; on April 25, this data was 150 million.

The foreign media TheVerge reported that although the user growth rate of Threads is not as rapid as when it was just released, it still maintains a steadily growing trend. Some Meta employees disclosed that most of the growth of Threads still comes from the internal promotion of Instagram, and the two applications share the same account system.

At present, Threads is still in a loss state financially, and the foreign media said that Meta executives are considering introducing an advertising system on Threads sometime next year.
