Xiantie said that R908 adopts a 64-bit design, fully compatible with RVA22 profile and RVA vector extension, and has higher reliability. It is specially designed for high-end industrial control, storage control, communication computing, in-vehicle and other fields.

Xiantie R908 adopts the RISC-V64GCB[V][H] architecture, supports homogeneous multi-core and multi-clusters, and each cluster has up to 8 cores. It adopts a 9-level dual-issue in-order pipeline design, and the floating-point unit supports BF16, FP16, FP32 data structures.
