Cadillac's All-New XT5 A Triumphant Return with Reconstructions

TapTechNews August 7th news, SAIC General Motors announced today that the Cadillac all-new XT5 is making a 'triumphant return'. It is introduced that the first-generation Cadillac XT5 and its predecessor SRX have achieved a cumulative global sales of 1.5 million units, with 550,000 units sold in China.

The all-new XT5 is claimed to be 'atomically reconstructed', with more than 3,000 differences from before, bigger, stronger, completely reconstructed. However, the official has not yet disclosed the new car's listing date and price information, and TapTechNews will keep following up.

According to the interior official picture released earlier this month, the new car will adopt a brand-new family design style. The all-new XT5 is equipped with a 33-inch 9K curved screen, significantly enhancing the vehicle's sense of technology. The new XT5 still maintains the iconic shield-shaped front grille and split-type headlight design, with distinct family characteristics. The body dimensions are 4888 millimeters (length) × 1957 millimeters (width) × 1694 millimeters (height), and the wheelbase is 2863 millimeters. The car is also equipped with 20-inch rims and red brake calipers. The rear design echoes the front, adopting a slender lamp group design and connected by a central chrome trim strip, and the exhaust layout is two-sided with two outlets.

In terms of power, according to the previous applicatio n information, the new XT5 will be equipped with a 2.0T engine with the model LXH produced by SAIC GM Powertrain Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 169 kilowatts. According to different configurations, the car will provide two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions for consumers to choose.
