Huawei's Earphone Floor Location Function Officially Launched
TapTechNews August 10th news, according to the official introduction of Huawei, the floor location function of Huawei earphones has been officially launched. Users can open the Find Device App, enable offline finding and experience the brand-new floor location, and lock the lost position to get it back.
The specific operations are as follows:
Put the earphones into the pairing state and connect to the phone.
Enable the earphone finding function.
Go to the phone settings > HMSCore > About > Long press the version number in the center of the screen > Check whether the following components in the component information list are updated to the latest. FindNetwork: 6.13.0.300 and above.
At the same time, go to the phone settings > Log in to the Huawei account > Cloud Space, click three or four dots in the upper right corner, select More Settings > About, and check whether the Cloud Space version is upgraded to 15.0.0.300 and above.
After completing the above operation steps, indoor floor location will be added in the Find Device App. If you are indoors, the specific floor information will be displayed on the map of the Find Device.
If the earphones are in the online state (green is displayed next to the earphones), with the phone supporting HarmonyOS2.0 and above versions, it supports the display of floor information in the building;
If the user is using FreeBudsPro3/FreeClip earphones, in the offline state (gray is displayed next to the earphones). The floor location display depends on the position reported and updated by Huawei devices with HarmonyOS2.0.
