Tesla's Model S/X Launches 3-Year FSD Subscription Package in the US

TapTechNews August 10th news, the Tesla US official website shows that the Model S/X models have now launched a 3-year subscription package for FSD autonomous driving, which includes Full Self-Driving Capability (FSD), free Supercharging, and an advanced in-car entertainment service package, priced at $5,000 (TapTechNews note: currently about 35,884 Chinese yuan).

TapTechNews noticed that if users subscribe to related services individually, the cumulative 3-year cost is $5,003.64 (currently about 35,910 Chinese yuan), and the price doesn't have much of a discount. Among them, the cost of Full Self-Driving Capability (FSD) is $99 per month (currently about 710 Chinese yuan), the cost of free Supercharging is $30 per month (currently about 215 Chinese yuan), and the cost of the advanced in-car entertainment service package is $9.99 per month (currently about 72 Chinese yuan).

Currently, in the US market, the FSD service can support functions such as autonomous driving navigation, automatic lane changing, automatic parking, intelligent summoning, urban navigation, traffic light/sign recognition. Compared with the standard version, the advanced in-car entertainment service will add functions such as satellite maps, playing online music and videos through in-car applications, in-car KTV, in-car online games, and an internet browser.

Earlier this month, Tesla pushed the FSD Supervised v12.5.1.1 version to more vehicles. In addition to landing on the Cybertruck for the first time, FSD v12.5 will also bring a series of improvements, including merging the highway and urban road software stacks, allowing drivers to wear sunglasses in autonomous driving mode, and the long-awaited Tesla true intelligent summoning function.
