On the store page of the upcoming fitness app AloMoves XR, Quest 3S is listed along with Quest 3, Quest Pro and Quest 2. Other upcoming games such as MiraclePool and VR Version of Horse Racing Star also include support for Quest 3S. However, Meta seems to have cleaned up the relevant information, and now the words Quest 3S have disappeared from the Quest store.

Quest 3S is expected to be a more affordable version of the Quest 3 headset that will be released in October 2023, but there are currently few details about this new device. TapTechNews noticed that in March this year, the leaked image shared by @ZGFTECH showed a cheaper Quest 3 that may have cancelled the see-through camera. However, more recent leaks seem to contradict this, claiming that it is equipped with two 4 MP RGB see-through cameras.

Last year, TheVerge reported on an internal presentation by Mark Rabkin, Meta's vice president of VR, which mentioned a cheaper Quest headset on the company's product roadmap. Rabkin mentioned in the speech that a more accessible headset with the code name Ventura would be launched. At that time, Rabkin said the goal was to offer the most powerful features at the most attractive price point in the VR consumer market.
