Apple launched the visionOS2 Developer Preview Beta 3 on July 9th. This update mainly focuses on bug fixes, and the internal version number is 22N5277g.

Referring to the one-picture guide previously made by TapTechNews, the major version of Apple visionOS2 adds the ability to obtain depth information from 2D photos, and through advanced machine learning, it can be transformed into 3D photos. Apple stated that this feature is designed to add depth to photos and make memories more immersive.

In addition, Apple has also introduced new gestures for the main view and control center, while supporting custom software layout in the main view. The travel mode now includes support for trains, and the guest user profile can now be saved for 30 days, so that guests don't have to set it up every time they try the head-mounted display.

VisionPro head-mounted display users can enter the Settings application on the device and switch to the Developer Test Version to download the visionOS test version. A developer account needs to be registered, and Apple recommends that users backup before installing the update.
