Paxini Perception Technology Unveils Second-Generation Humanoid Robot TORA-ONE at 2024 World Robot Conference

TapTechNews August 23rd news, the 2024 World Robot Conference opened in Beijing on August 21st, and Paxini Perception Technology released the second-generation humanoid robot TORA-ONE.

The second-generation multi-dimensional tactile humanoid robot TORA-ONE integrates nearly 2000 self-developed ITPU multi-dimensional tactile sensing units in both hands, which can capture and analyze the fine deformation and multi-dimensional tactile information on the contact surface; the number of degrees of freedom of the body is increased to 47, combined with a 26-degree-of-freedom bionic dexterous hand, and it supports the self-developed VTLA-Model visual-tactile multi-modal perception model and AI visual system.

TapTechNews noticed that TORA-ONE adopts a highly modular design concept and supports dynamic adaptive height adjustment function from 4.79 feet to 6.07 feet.

The ITPU multi-dimensional tactile sensing unit adopts a semi-flexible material design and a new packaging technology, supports full-scale 0.022 pound-force high-precision measurement, has 15 kinds of multi-dimensional tactile perception such as pressure, temperature, material, and sliding, waterproof and dustproof, and has stability and durability under environmental conditions such as extreme temperature, humidity, pressure, and vibration, and realizes high-density signal transmission and more than 3 million usage measurements.
