For some vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to manufacturing reasons, the power battery may cause an internal short circuit of the battery cell and trigger thermal overload. In extreme cases, it may lead to a fire of the power battery, presenting a safety hazard.

Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the power battery pack for free or repurchase the vehicle for the vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate potential safety hazards. Users can choose one of the two options. The vehicle repurchase will be implemented as of today, and the replacement of the power battery pack is expected to be implemented starting from November 1, 2024.

This recall is an expanded recall of the Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. recalling some imported Jaguar I-PACE series vehicles released on May 11, 2024.
