ADATA Announces June and First Half 2024 Operating Income with Positive Outlook

TapTechNews July 11th news, the storage module enterprise ADATA announced the operating income situation of June and the cumulative first half of 2024 on the 8th of this month.

ADATA achieved an operating income of 2.953988 billion New Taiwan dollars in June 2024 (TapTechNews note: currently about 1.486 billion US dollars), with a year-on-year increase of 29.38%, but there was an 8.47% month-on-month decrease compared to 3.227273 billion New Taiwan dollars in May.

From the main categories, 50.95% of ADATA's June revenue came from DRAM memory modules, 27.29% was contributed by solid-state drives, and other products represented by memory cards accounted for 21.76%.

From January to June, ADATA cumulatively achieved an operating income of 20.910128 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 1.0586 billion US dollars), with a 48.56% year-on-year increase.

According to the Taiwan media Commercial Times report, ADATA chairman Chen Libai believes that the fundamentals of the storage market are still positive at present:

Although the spot price of storage has recently experienced a small adjustment, as long as the current small-scale destocking ends, the spot price of storage will still return to the upward track.
