GAC Trumpchi and Huawei's Joint Innovation Plan and New Car Revealed

According to TapTechNews on May 27th, today, Huang Yongqiang, the general manager of GAC Motor Passenger Vehicles, exposed the concept drawing of the first model of the joint innovation plan between Trumpchi and Huawei on social media, and the new car will be launched and delivered in the first quarter of 2025.

Judging from the picture, this new car adopts a brand-new design style. The front face adopts a closed grille, and the Trumpchi logo of GAC Motor is integrated with the through-type light strip. The overall streamline of the car body is very smooth, and it is expected to have a good drag coefficient.

According to previous news, the two sides will cooperate on three models, namely a large luxury flagship MPV, a large luxury flagship SUV, and a large luxury flagship sedan. The first model will be launched and delivered in the first quarter of 2025. The exposed concept drawing is consistent with the previously released new large luxury flagship sedan sketch.

At the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, GAC Trumpchi announced the launch of a joint innovation plan with Huawei and will launch models equipped with Huawei's Qiankun (TapTechNews note: pronunciation: qiánkūn) intelligent driving system ADS3.0 and the new-generation Hongmeng cockpit. Huang Yongqiang reconfirmed this point in today's warm-up video and revealed that he is in a meeting with Huawei's staff.
