TapTechNews August 2nd news, Nokia today launched a 5G gateway with the model name FastMile 5G Gateway 12. The official claims that this gateway conforms to the 3GPP Release 17 standard (the 17th version of the third-generation mobile communication standard), supports 4G/5G and Wi-Fi 7 communication technologies, and is mainly aimed at the enterprise market.
TapTechNews learned that this gateway has a pure white appearance, is made of recyclable materials, and is equipped with a simple LED indicator for easy status viewing and supports remote control through the Nokia Wi-Fi application.
Regarding specifications, Nokia did not disclose too much information about this gateway, only mentioning that this gateway is equipped with eight 8 dBi omnidirectional high-gain antennas, supports 2+4+2 tri-band connections, and provides 3 network ports. As usual, the company will provide this product to European and American network operators and sell it to end-users through a subscription system.
