SAIC Volkswagen Tiguan L PRO Launch Event, Features, and More

TapTechNews May 23rd news, SAIC Volkswagen announced a while ago that the launch event of the Tiguan L PRO model will be held at 7:00 pm on May 30, and the pre-sale has now officially started (the specific price has not been announced yet).

The official website of SAIC Volkswagen shows that the dual front face designs of this new car correspond to the standard version and the R-Line version respectively. The latter is equipped with an exclusive kit and adds the R logo in the body details. Both exteriors are equipped with LED light source headlight groups and a brand-new eagle wing through-type headlight, and the LOGO can glow. The new Tiguan L PRO has a length, width and height of 4735/1859 (1842)/1682 inches (about 119.5/47.2/42.2 centimeters), and the wheelbase is 2791 millimeters (about 109.9 inches).

In the cockpit, the car is equipped with a 15-inch 2K floating central control screen, an 11.6-inch passenger entertainment screen, a 10.3-inch LCD instrument, a black crystal light-flow intelligent control knob, a head-up display system and mobile phone interconnection, supporting Apple CarPlay, Baidu CarLife and Huawei HiCar. At the same time, the new car is equipped with the flagship chip of the Qualcomm's 3rd-generation Snapdragon cockpit platform (TapTechNews note: the specific model is not stated by the official), supporting multi-screen interaction and 5G communication.

In addition, the intelligent voice system of this car is supported by iFLYTEK technology, and it also has the in-vehicle Tencent ecosystem and lane-level navigation function. The IQ.Pilot intelligent assisted driving function is jointly developed with DJI Automotive.

In terms of power, the engine displacement of this new car is 1.984 liters, the rated power is 162 kW, the maximum speed is 200 km/h, and the maximum torque is 350 Nm. In addition, the car is expected to also launch a low-power 2.0T engine version, and the maximum power is 137 kW.
