Like OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google Gemini, Claude has also become extremely popular in the past year. Anthropic was founded by a former senior R & D executive of OpenAI and has won the support of Google, Salesforce and Amazon. In the past year, Anthropic has completed five rounds of financing with a total amount of approximately $7.3 billion.

In March this year, Anthropic launched the Claude3 series of models. Subsequently, OpenAI launched GPT-4o in May. Anthropic said today that Claude3.5 Sonnet is faster than the previous flagship model Claude3 Opus and is also the first model of Anthropic's new Claude3.5 family.

At present, Claude3.5 Sonnet is available for free on the company's website Claude.ai and in the Claude iPhone application. Subscribers of ClaudePro and Team can also access the latest model. In addition, it is also available through AnthropicAPI, AmazonBedrock and Google Cloud's VertexAI.

Anthropic said in a blog post: It has made significant progress in grasping nuances, humor and complex instructions, and is also excellent in writing high-quality content in a natural and reasonable tone. In addition, it can also write, edit and execute code.

While releasing the new model, Anthropic also introduced Artifacts on Claude.ai, which is a new feature that can expand the way users interact with Claude. When users ask Claude to generate content such as code snippets, text documents or website designs, these Artifacts will appear in a dedicated window next to their conversations. This creates a dynamic workspace where users can view, edit and build Claude's creations in real time and seamlessly integrate the AI-generated content into their projects and workflows.

Today, as start-ups such as Anthropic and OpenAI rise in the field of generative AI, they have joined forces with tech giants such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Meta to become part of the AI arms race. It is expected that the size of this market will exceed $1 trillion within the next ten years.
