TapTechNews August 25th news, according to 36Kr report, BAIC Group invested 1.6 billion yuan to build the Xiangjie Super Factory, to produce the Xiangjie S9, 100% automation of key processes.

The Xiangjie S9 is jointly created by Hongmeng Zhixing and BAIC Group, positioned as a panoramic smart flagship sedan. There are two versions, $57,800 for the Max version and $65,300 for the Ultra version.

Xiangjie S9 was released on August 6th. As TapTechNews reported previously, the number of pre-orders of the Xiangjie S9 exceeded 2,500 units within 24 hours after its launch, and exceeded 4,800 units within 72 hours.

Both versions of the Xiangjie S9 car are equipped with 100 kWh batteries, and the CLTC range corresponds to 816 km and 721 km respectively. It is standard with zero-gravity seats, laser projection, the Huawei Tuling platform, HUAWEI ADS 3.0 advanced intelligent driving system, etc.
