Gigabyte to Unveil New B650E AORUS Stealth ICE Motherboard at Computex Taipei 2024

TapTechNews on June 3rd reported that there is still one day before the official opening of Computex Taipei 2024, and some media have received special invitations from manufacturers to get a sneak peek.

Foreign media TechPowerUp and Wccftech came to the Gigabyte booth and discovered the upcoming B650E AORUS Stealth ICE motherboard from Gigabyte.

Currently, there are mainly 3 manufacturers independently retailing reverse plug motherboards: ASUS, MSI, and Maxsun, and Gigabyte is not among them.

But TapTechNews noticed that Gigabyte had sold the Project Stealth Magician reverse plug kit as early as 2022. This kit contains the Z690 AORUS Elite Stealth reverse plug motherboard and the matching chassis and motherboard.

Gigabyte's re-release of the Stealth series motherboard this time is expected to provide more choices for consumers and enhance the competition in the reverse plug market.

Coming back to this motherboard itself, Gigabyte claims that the B650E AORUS Stealth ICE is the world's first white reverse plug motherboard, and at the same time it is equipped with a large white backplane.

Gigabyte said that this motherboard is not only compatible with the reverse plug dedicated chassis, but also improves the compatibility with regular chassis in terms of design, bringing more choices to users.

The IO panel of this motherboard provides a Type-C interface that supports DP Alt mode, four USB 2.0 interfaces, including 7 USB 3.2 Type-A interfaces including one interface that supports BIOS flashing, in addition to a 2.5G wired network port and an HDMI interface.
