xAI has recently received $6 billion (TapTechNews note: currently about 43.56 billion yuan) in financing, and the company's valuation has reached about $18 billion (currently about 130.68 billion yuan). Currently, xAI plans to significantly expand its AI-related product portfolio by increasing its investment in GPU clusters.

In April this year, the X platform (Twitter) blogger TheTechnologyBrother once posted that Meta currently has about 350,000 H100GPUs, which is the largest in the world at present. Musk added, If measured correctly, Tesla will be in the second place, and X/xAI will be in the third place.

And according to the news disclosed by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in March this year, the price range of the B200 GPU may be between $30,000 and $40,000 (currently about 218,000 to 290,000 yuan). This means that assuming xAI can negotiate the lowest price mentioned by Jensen Huang, xAI will spend at least $90 billion (currently about 65.34 billion yuan) to buy about 300,000 B200 GPUs.

This also means that in the next few months, xAI may invest at least half of its current value to buy these chips.
