Ubisoft's Beyond Good and Evil Gets Remastered Version

TapTechNews June 25th news, Ubisoft launched Beyond Good and Evil (BeyondGoodandEvil) for PlayStation 2, the original Xbox and GameCube consoles in November 2003. This science fiction-themed third-person action adventure game did not achieve huge financial success at that time. However, over time, this game has gradually accumulated a large number of fans and is even considered by many to be 'one of the best games of all time'.

In November 2023, Ubisoft announced the remastered version of this game Beyond Good and Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition (BeyondGoodandEvil 20thAnniversaryEdition), and it is now officially on sale on the Steam platform, with a price of 98 yuan in the Chinese region (click here to visit). In addition to Steam, this game has also landed on PS4, PS5, XboxOne, XboxSeriesX|S, and Switch 'all platforms'.

TapTechNews learned that this game mainly upgrades the graphics and functions based on the original game, including 'newly made 4K texture materials', and adds features such as auto-saving/cross-platform saving, as well as a series of in-game collectible items.

And in terms of the game background, players will act as a penniless young photographer/lighthouse keeper/orphan caregiver/martial artist Jade, and set off with her adoptive father Pey'j to explore an area that is said to be constantly harassed by aliens. It claims that while integrating various genres of gameplay, it can let players feel the thrill of hitting aliens.
