Sony Launches New Linkbuds Series Products with Innovative Features
TapTechNews October 1st news, Sony has launched new Linkbuds series products, including the new LinkBudsFit (replacing LinkBudsS), LinkBudsOpen (replacing LinkBuds) and the new LinkBudsSpeaker Bluetooth speaker. The first two earphones are priced at $199.99 (TapTechNews note: currently about 1402 Chinese yuan), and the latter is $179.99 (currently about 1262 Chinese yuan).
The LinkBudsFit and LinkBudsOpen both adopt new color schemes and offer a variety of personalized casings. The LinkBudsFit also adopts a new shape design to further improve comfort; the LinkBudsOpen still retains the iconic circular driver design.
Sony LinkBuds Fit supports IPX4 water resistance, while the LinkBuds Open earphones have the same certification (but not the charging case).
Sony says that LinkBudsFit is equipped with an automatic noise reduction optimizer, supports ambient sound and automatic adjustment functions, and also has a new transparency mode that can precisely adjust how much ambient sound according to the environmental volume, for example, it will be a completely different experience in a quiet park and at a train station.
In addition, they also support a new background sound mode, aiming to make it easier for users to focus. In other aspects, this earphone supports Bluetooth 5.3, multipoint and LDAC high-resolution audio, as well as DSEE upscaling. In addition, LinkBudsOpen also supports LC3.
The LinkBudsOpen also supports Bluetooth 5.3. Sony claims that it adopts a new circular driver, with louder sound, richer bass, and longer battery life - 8 hours per single ear and 22 hours of comprehensive battery life, and also supports fast charging, only lacking LDAC support compared to LinkBudsFit.
Sony also provides optional silicone cases for LinkBudsFit and Open, which can be used in a mixed and matched way with different colors. Each earphone case is $10 / £10, and the charging case case is $20 / £20.
The LinkBuds Bluetooth speaker is compact in size, with the bass speaker and treble speaker facing forward, and there is a passive radiator on each side, as well as a 5-band audio equalizer; built-in microphone; comes with a separate charging dock, supports IPX4 splash resistance, and promises to support fas t charging and 25 hours of battery life.
