Volkswagen Anhui's First Model ID.UNYX to Be Launched Soon

TapTechNews June 28th news, the first model under Volkswagen Anhui, the ID.UNYX will be officially launched in mid-July and offers two pure electric range versions of 621 kilometers and 565 kilometers. (Note: 1 kilometer is about 0.621 miles.)

According to the previously released application drawings, the new car adopts a brand new design style. The through-type light strip connects the two headlights on both sides, and the rear is equipped with a through-type taillight group. The red logo is expected to be illuminated.

TapTechNews noted that the ID.UNYX has previously appeared in the application list of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The single-motor rear-wheel drive version adopts a 170kW motor provided by Volkswagen Automatic Transmission (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., and the dual-motor four-wheel drive model also adopts an 80kW motor from HuaYu Magna Electric Drive System Co., Ltd. The total power can reach 250kW. (Note: 1kW is about 1.34 horsepower.)

The data of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also shows that the car is equipped with an 82.4kWh battery, and the CLTC range can reach 621 kilometers and 565 kilometers. (1 kWh is about 3600 watt-hours.)

The length, width and height of the ID.UNYX are 4663/1860/1610mm, and the wheelbase is 2766mm, and the curb weight is 2166/2266kg. For reference, the length, width and height of the FAW-Volkswagen ID.4CROZZ are 4592/1852/1629mm, and the wheelbase is 2765mm. The dimensions are relatively close.
