TapTechNews June 28 - Today, Seres Automobile held a ceremony to launch the application of IDRA 10,000-ton super die-casting machine and robot-integrated casting parts processing technology in cooperation with Wencan Group at the Seres Super Factory, announcing the official commissioning of the IDRA 10,000-ton super intelligent die-casting unit.
Representatives from the Chongqing Municipal Economic and Information Commission and leaders of the Liangjiang New Area, Zhang Xinghai, the founder and chairman of Seres Group, and Tang Jiexiong, the chairman of Wencan Group, and many other leaders attended the event on site.
Zhang Xinghai said, The upcoming 10,000-ton super intelligent die-casting unit is currently the world's first and largest two-plate die-casting unit. It is also the result of Seres Automobile's implementation of the 'integration and clustering' project under the Chongqing '33618' strategy, which can meet the increasing demand for intelligent travel experience of users.
According to TapTechNews' previous report, the Seres Super Factory was officially completed and put into use on February 5 this year. It has more than 1000 intelligent equipment and over 3000 robots for intelligent collaboration, enabling 100% automation in key processes. It has the industry's first quality automated testing technology, realizing 100% quality monitoring and traceability. It also has the world's leading 9000T die-casting machine, achieving the highest degree of integration in integrated die-casting parts. At the same time, it also achieved the world's highest production efficiency.
It is introduced that the IDRA 10,000-ton super intelligent die-casting unit jointly put into production and application by the two parties this time adopts advanced die-casting technology and intelligent control system, which can greatly improve production efficiency and reduce production cost through high-precision and high-efficiency die-casting production, and enhance the structural strength and stability of the whole vehicle.
At the ceremony held today, Seres Automobile also announced that it will be the first to apply the high-precision robot large milling processing technology independently developed by Shanghai Fanuc to process and upgrade the integrated large castings. Through the dual optimization of the hardware mechanical structure and software control, the efficient improvement of processing precision, processing rigidity, and processing speed is achieved.
