2024 Skyworth HT-i V9 Officially Launched with Plug-in Hybrid System
TapTechNews July 26th news, the 2024 Skyworth HT-i V9 officially went on the market, with an official guide price of $42,800. This model is positioned as a midsize SUV and is equipped with a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid power system.
For reference, the current Skyworth HT-i full-range model guide price range is $18,200 - $45,600, of which the 2024 model starts at $31,400.
According to TapTechNews' inquiry, the Skyworth HT-i is the only SUV model of Skyworth Automobile equipped with plug-in hybrid power, and the new car remains the same as the current model in terms of appearance and main configurations, with length, width and height of 4720/1908/1701 millimeters (approx. 185.8/75.1/67 inches) respectively, and a wheelbase of 2800 millimeters (approx. 110.2 inches), providing four exterior color options of aurora white, gem black, star blue, and galaxy gray.
In terms of interior, the new car is equipped with elements such as a flat-bottom steering wheel, a 15.6-inch floating central control screen, and knob shift, etc. Compared with the top-of-the-line model (pilot version), it mainly removes the engine under-shield, two-color aluminum alloy wheels, front side airbags, pre-tension of the front seat belt, reminder of the unfastened rear seat belt, automatic heating of the exterior rearview mirror/automatic folding when reversing/memory, 128-color musical atmosphere light, air outlet in the armrest box, ventilation of the front seats, 12V power supply in the trunk, wireless charging of mobile phones and other configurations.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with the same骁云-plug-in hybrid 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid system as BYD DM-i, which is composed of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor. The maximum power of the engine is 81 kilowatts, and the maximum power of the motor is 130 kilowatts, matching an E-CVT electronically continuously variable transmission, equipped with a 21.68 kWh battery, and the WLTC pure electric cruising range is 81 miles.
