When interviewed by IGN, Hartmann praised the Switch, calling it a great device and that the studio plans to develop games for Nintendo's Switch successor model. He also said that fans should be patient with Nintendo, and said he is willing to wait a year or even longer to make the console perfect instead of rushing the company to launch the product, which leads to an imperfect product. Yes, we obviously plan to develop games for it, and I can't wait to see it released. Honestly, I'd rather wait an extra year for them to make it perfect than rush it to the market and then we all complain about its shortcomings, Hartmann said.

TapTechNews noted that Amazon Games has not previously released any games on Nintendo's Switch platform. The games being developed by the company include Blue Protocol and King of Meat, the latter of which is planned to be released on multiple platforms, including the Switch, but the release date has not been determined.
