EK Launches Nexe Series at Computex 2024 Taipei

TapTechNews June 5th news, EK launched the Nexe series products at Computex 2024 Taipei International Computer Show, which combines the characteristics of custom split water cooling and AIO all-in-one water cooling.

EK said that Nexe is a brand-new product line designed from scratch, and its key components such as the cold head are manufactured using the same one-shot injection molding process as AIO water cooling to achieve a balance between performance, design, and price.

Moreover, Nexe cancels the threaded design and uses only simple push-in connectors: after locking in place, it forms an airtight seal while allowing the water pipe to rotate freely to simplify the user's installation process.

The Nexe graphics card cold head adopts a modular design, which consists of a cooling core universal/suitable for specific GPU models and a radiator covering the entire PCB:

A single Nexe GPU cooling core can cover the GPU core and memory of RTX 4080 and 4090 graphics cards.

The other key components on the PCB are cooled with large-area aluminum profiles CNC machined specifically for each model.

The Nexe water cooling system also includes an integrated water pump tank, offering optional D5 and DTX water pump versions and equipped with two QDC quick-disconnect interfaces.

TapTechNews noticed that EK also launched the water cooling management and maintenance tool EK-ProDFF at the same time to achieve functions such as rapid water injection and pipe cleaning.
