Valve Announces First Batch of Maps in <CS2>

On June 26, TapTechNews reported that Valve announced that the first batch of player community maps in is now available, and currently there are five community maps available for players to play.

First is Memento and Assembly in the wingman mode. Memento is an Italian town, and Assembly is an airplane factory with many production equipment and mechanical devices. These two new maps are good news for players who dream of getting married in Italy or building airplanes.

Next is the classic PoolDay map, which is only available in the arms race mode and looks quite chaotic.

Finally, there are two maps suitable for the deathmatch mode and casual mode, namely Thera and Mills.

It should be noted that Valve has made a comprehensive update to the map-based skill set. In addition to redistributing the skill set of players, the developers have also made it easier for players to obtain these badges.

TapTechNews noticed that the latest update also includes a brand new MVP panel and new options for optimizing the graphic settings, such as adding the frame smoothing option in the Advanced Graphic Settings.

The developers have also added adjustment sliders of maximum frames in-game and maximum frames in-menu in frame smoothing. In addition, they have increased the default setting of maximum frames in menu from 120 FPS to 200 FPS.
