Nvidia's AI Summit Focuses on Practical Applications and Future Trends

TapTechNews October 9th news, on Tuesday local time, Nvidia held a three-day AI Summit in the US. Bob Pette, vice president and general manager of Nvidia's Enterprise Platform Division, said that the focus of this summit is more on the practical application of AI rather than the release of new products.

Bob Pette claimed that various industries around the world are gradually entering the stage of widespread application of AI and predicted that AI will bring an economic impact of up to 20 trillion US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 141 trillion yuan) in various fields. This summit focused on the next stage of AI development, including from advanced AI agents to robot factories, weather forecasting, cancer treatment, and outer space exploration and other application scenarios.

According to the introduction, there are already thousands of pre-trained AI agents, such as Nvidia's NIM, which are enhancing productivity in multiple industries globally. For example, the US National Cancer Institute uses Nvidia's medical AI service for medical image analysis and data extraction. Moreover, Nvidia's AI also assists pharmaceutical companies in screening new drug molecules, significantly shortening the drug development cycle.

Pette also revealed that Nvidia's CUDA library currently contains more than 4000 accelerated applications, promoting innovation in multiple industries. Nvidia believes that the next wave of AI revolution will be physical AI, that is, robots interact with the physical world through remote control.
