Sony Developing New Astro Bot Game, PS5 Pro Rumors

TapTechNews May 25th news, the source billbil-kun posted on the X platform today, claiming that Sony SIE is developing a new Astro Bot game, which will land on the PS5 platform and is expected to be announced within the next 15 days.

According to the introduction, a part of this new Astro Bot game is set in a desert environment, and one of the new characters is a fennec fox in the form of a machine.

TapTechNews noted that Sony's Astro Bot games are usually used for the technical demonstration and hardware getting started of the game console itself, such as Sony's PSVR in 2018 and the PS5 game console (DualSense controller) in 2020, but it is not yet known what kind of technical demonstration this brand new Astro Bot game is mainly used for at present.

In addition, there have been continuous leaks about Sony's PS5 Pro game console recently. According to TapTechNews' previous report, this game console is likely to be unveiled at the upcoming Sony PlayStation Showcase. The code name of this machine is Trinity, which mainly improves the ray tracing technology. The maximum operating frequency of the GPU is 2.35 GHz and it is equipped with 16GB GDDR6 RAM.
