According to Anker, the recall only involves a small number of Anker 321 Portable Chargers produced after March 2023. Due to manufacturing defects, the lithium battery may overheat, causing melting, smoking, or even fires. For caution, Anker has decided to recall all products of this model.

Consumers can check the white label at the bottom of the power bank to see if there is the words Anker 321 Portable Charger (PowerCore 5K, black), Model: A1112. If your power bank matches this model, Anker strongly suggests that you stop using this product immediately.

You can register through the form provided by Anker, fill in information such as the serial number, and you will get a free replacement Anker 533 Portable Charger provided by Anker. To speed up the processing, Anker suggests preparing the purchase voucher before filling out the form.

Anker also reminds users not to throw discarded batteries in the trash or recycling bin to avoid environmental pollution or causing fires. Anker provides guidance on responsible disposal of used batteries on its website, providing corresponding disposal methods for different countries and regions.
