Xiaomi Automobile's SU7 Gets New OTA Update with Three Key Features

TapTechNews August 12th news, today, Xiaomi Automobile announced the latest OTA upgrade of SU7 (the specific version number has not been announced), bringing three important new functions: automatic parking photo taking, video recording to display driving information, and displaying the same-side video when the turn signal is turned on.

Automatic parking photo taking: After the function is enabled, every time the car is locked and left, the vehicle will automatically take a photo and synchronize it in the Vehicle Location of the Xiaomi Automobile APP to help the owner find the vehicle more easily in the parking lot.

Video recording to display driving information: After OTA, you can view the corresponding driving gear, seat belt status, assisted driving status and other partial driving information in the driving video recording to facilitate understanding the driving status in the dashboard camera screen.

Displaying the same-side video when the turn signal is turned on: After the OTA update, when the turn signal is turned on, the same-side driving video can be seen.

TapTechNews noticed that since the delivery of Xiaomi SU7, the OTA push frequency has increased significantly. On August 9th, the OTA upgrade of Xiaomi SU7 also enhanced the function of the Xiao AI Classmate voice assistant and expanded the support range of the Xiaomi Automobile Smart Devices App, adding support for Mijia lights, curtains, environmental monitoring devices and cameras and other devices.
