Google Releases Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1 for Pixel Devices

TapTechNews August 23rd news, Google today launched the Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1 version update for Pixel devices. The official support list includes Pixel 6, 6Pro, 6a, 7, 7Pro, 7a, 8, 8Pro, 8a, and Pixel Tablet devices.

The Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1 (AP41.240726.009) update includes new platform features, bug fixes, performance optimizations, and the August 2024 security patch. The test size for TapTechNews partners is 407 MB.

The QPR version of the Android system is a large update that Google releases quarterly (QPR stands for Quarterly Platform Release). For Android 15 QPR1, after several months of testing in the following months, the official version is expected to be launched in December 2024.
