ADATA and Advantech Create Third-Generation C-Rob AMR, Boost Deployment Speed

TapTechNews August 23rd news, according to the press release of Advantech on the 21st of this month, ADATA jointly with this enterprise successfully created the third-generation C-Rob AMR (TapTechNews note: Autonomous Mobile Robot), which can reduce the import time by 70%.

ADATA and Advantech have previously cooperated in the field of robotics: ADATA's second-generation C-Rob AMR has applied Advantech's MIC-710AIX self-propelled robot application AI inference system in the upper computer system.

And ADATA's third-generation C-Rob AMR is equipped with Advantech's MIC-732-AO system; MIC-732-AO is built on the Isaac Nova Orin computing and sensor reference platform launched by NVIDIA in 2022; NVIDIA Nova Orin integrates the Jetson Orin hardware module.

Thanks to the powerful MIC-732-AO system, ADATA's third-generation C-Rob AMR integrates the two main systems, which were traditionally divided into the upper computer and the lower computer, into an all-in-one machine, increasing the deployment speed of the AMR terminal to three times that before.

ADATA and Advantech, this pair of partners, will next cooperate with NVIDIA experts to integrate NVIDIA Omniverse, simulate the AMR working environment through digital twin technology, and further shorten the working deployment time of the self-propelled robot.
